Modern News Compass considers collaborations that fit careful public-interest reading and remain clearly separate from editorial decisions. We accept partner placements across the site when their purpose and source are transparent to readers.

Suitable collaborations

We consider clearly identified sponsorships, partner messages and relevant information placements that can be described accurately and do not require us to endorse a claim. Proposals should explain the organisation or project involved, the intended audience, the placement requested and any editorial or commercial conditions.

Clear labelling

Partner material is labelled so readers can distinguish it from independently produced editorial content. Labels remain visible where the material appears, and partner links or messages are presented without implying that editorial coverage endorses them.

Editorial boundaries

Partners do not select our conclusions, approve editorial copy or prevent corrections. We may decline proposals that obscure their source, make unsupported claims, conflict with the publication's purpose or cannot be labelled clearly.
